Guys, I am so excited to share with you my very first hair how-to pictorial! I would love to make these a regular thing, so you have to let me know what you think. I am constantly on the lookout for inspiration for my YouTube videos, so last week I challenged myself to style my hair in a different way everyday. Of all the different looks, this half up knot hairstyle completely stole my heart. I love how feminine and effortless it appears, all while taking under 2 minutes to do. So here are the steps to re-create the hairstyle. 🙂

1: If you want a more effortless look, go ahead and curl your hair away from your face, then alternate directions for a more natural appearance. I used my 32 mm wand from the Nume Titan 3 collection.

2: Part your hair as normal and grab large sections on each side of your face while loosely twisting your hair away. For a more romantic appearance don’t forget to leave small pieces out to frame your face.

3: Loosely tie the two sections of hair around one another at the back of your head. Imagine the first step of tying your shoe. 🙂

4: Tie the sections loosely around one another one more time to form the knot.

5: Use 2 bobby pins to secure the ends of the knot to your head to hold it in place. Don’t worry if the bobby pins are showing, step 6 will help!

6: Using your index finger and thumb, gently tug on the sides of the knot and twists to help create a fuller and thicker appearance.

7. And you are done!

Let me know if you try it out this hairstyle! xo
