Although the forecast said there was a 90% chance of rain, Sophie and I decided that it wasn’t going to stop us from exploring. At least once a day I need to get out of the house and go for a walk. Getting outside helps clear my mind, and can change my entire mood making me feel really happy. Since there has been a lot of rain lately, the ground was very muddy, (I rinsed my shoes as soon as I got home) and of course slippery.  Clearly not the most ideal day for a walk, but we persisted and decided to hike down the steep terrain to the bottom of Albion Falls. The waterfall was beautiful, loud, and very relaxing to watch.  We were a muddy mess by the end, and since the conditions weren’t ideal, we had the whole waterfall to enjoy for ourselves. I guess I am thankful for all the rain we have been having, because I had been chasing waterfalls all summer and they were nothing but a dry wall of rock. I can’t wait to show you more!

Do you love spending time outdoors too? If not, I am challenging you to explore today! 🙂
