How To Do This Half Up Hairstyle
- Trace from the front of your ears up to the crown, but only grab the very top layer of hair and leave everything underneath down.
- Direct the side sections upward and secure because this lifts the face and keeps the top from looking flat.
- Slide the elastic down an inch or two, then twist it tightly 2–3 times to the right and push it up toward the crown.
- Secure it with three French pins – that’s all you need.
- Then gently pinch and pull the crown for even more volume, smooth any flyaways with hairspray, and this is the perfect base if you want to add a pretty hair accessory.
How To Easy Ponytail Hairstyle
- Smooth your hair back into a sleek ponytail
- Secure it at temple height
- Next, slide the hair tie down about an inch or two
- From the centre of your crown, trace a line down to the top of your ponytail.
- Use your thumbs and index fingers to create a clean opening just above the tie.
- Push the base of your ponytail up through that opening with your thumbs, and then pull it all the way through.
- Tighten the ponytail by pulling gently on the sides, smooth everything out, and you’ll have a beautiful, secure, voluminous ponytail.
How To Quick Braided Ponytail Hairstyle
- Start by taking the side sections just above your temples, leaving the centre hair down.
- Secure the sides with an elastic, then topsy tail by flipping up and pulling through.
- Take sections just above the ears and repeat the same steps, secure just below, flip, and pull through.
- Then continue with the sections behind the ears, and finally at the nape of the neck.
- Once everything is secured, gather the hair into a three-strand braid, keeping that centre ponytail as your middle strand, and braid all the way down.
- Secure at the end, then gently pancake by pinching and pulling the outer sections, especially at the top, to create the illusion of even more volume.
