How To Do a French Twist
- Prep your hair with a light styling cream (I love this new one from Gisou) or hair oil for hold and shine.
- Lightly curl your hair (I used the Dyson Airdrop ID) before styling to add texture and grip. This helps the twist stay secure, and gives the french twist a soft, polished look.
- And to help with flyaways, I always apply Dae Hair Cream.
- Gather your hair into a low ponytail with your left hand.
- With your right hand underneath, thumb on top, twist the ponytail tightly away from your face two times.
- Bring the twist to the top of your head, and using your opposite hand tuck your twist to tighten it.
- Secure with a DIY bungee across the twist (two bobby pins on an elastic) or use bobby pins along your twist.
- Fan out the ends into a soft bun at the top, and pin the sides.
- Smooth the remaining ends under and bring across to the right side, and pin to finish.
- As always, add Kérastase Glaze Drops to add shine to the look.
