EVERYDAY MAKEUP TUTORIAL

I am so excited to share my everyday makeup tutorial with all of you today as it is different then what you are all used to. This makeup tutorial will help you achieve a natural makeup look, and is easy enough for beginners to achieve. I share my favourite drugstore and high-end products in this GRWM and I can’t wait to see what you all think.

BASE PRODUCTS

For my base, I like to keep it lightweight and natural looking. I look for products that even out my skin tone, without covering up my freckles which gives a more natural appearance to the look. I have been using Mac Face and Body Foundation for years as it is very light coverage, hydrating and does a great job at evening out my skin tone. Depending on the occasion I like to use a full coverage foundation on select areas of my face to cover up any redness, or blemishes, and I have really been loving Maybeline’s 24hr Super Stay Foundation. To conceal my under eyes, It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye is my go to and I like to set it with COVER FX Perfect Pressed Setting Powder for an airbrushed finish.

HIGHLIGHT + BRONZE + GLOW

My secret for the glow from within is L’oreal’s True Match Lumi Glotion, I apply it under my foundation and it gives a very natural glow to the skin. For every day, I love a liquid highlighter like the Sephora Collection Radiant Luminzing Drops, I pat them onto the high points of my face and it helps give my skin a healthy dewy look. If I want an extra pop, I reach for Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighter, it is the perfect champaign colour for summer and really helps to highlight my cheekbones. Lately, I have been loving blush especially creme ones like Stila’s Convertibile Color because it looks very natural on the skin for everyday use. Bronzer is a must for every day, you already know how much I like the TOO FACED Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer because it gives a natural warmth to my skin, creating the perfect bronzey look for summer. 

EYES

I like to keep my eyes quite simple for every day so I just lightly sweep bronzer on them, then I apply a light coat of Glossier Lash Slick Mascara. If I am going out I like to wear half lashes, Kiss Lashes in Shy are my go-to (Don’t forget to trim them). For brows, I like to use a brow pencil and recently I have been loving the L’oreal Brow Stylist Definer and I always set them in place with Glossier Boy Brow.

LIPS

Now onto my favourite category, lips! I am a big fan of nude lips, and I wanted to share my current go-to lip combination. First I line my lips with NYX Lip Liner as it has been my go-to for years. When it comes to lip products for every day, I look for something that is no fuss and low maintenance. I recently came across an amazing lip product, Lancome’s Matte Shakers. The formula of these is so unique, very comfortable on the lips and lasts all day. I have been loving glossy lips for spring, so I like to top off the look with FENTY Lipgloss in FU$$Y.
