Today’s hair tutorial is, 10 EASY Back to School Hairstyles for 2021! These hairstyles are perfect for medium – long hair lengths and are very quick and simple to recreate. I wanted to share all different types of hairstyles so there’s half-up half-down, braids and voluminous ponytails, down styles, easy buns, messy buns, and my favourite summer hairstyle, the claw clip hairstyle.
I also shared all my tips and tricks to dry your hair quickly, and help get you out the door on time.
Tip #1: Dry your hair with a microfibre towel, if you haven’t made the switch I highly recommend it! They not only save so much time, but damage your hair less. Kitsch’s microfibre towels are my favourite. I love them so much I bought one for my Mom. The best part is when I remove the microfibre towel, my hair is already about 60% dry! It cuts blow drying time in half, which reduces the amount of heat that you need to use.
Tip #2: My next secret to speed up air drying is using Micro Fibre Scrunchies! I love to throw them in my hair while I’m getting ready, and they continue to absorb excess water. That way once I’m finished getting ready, and remove them, and my hair is about 90% dry. This means I only need to blow dry my hair for a couple of minutes, versus without microfibre it takes forever.
And I have to share this, you can also wear them on your wrists while washing your face to avoid your sleeves and arms from getting wet, how genius!
Tip #3: Sleep with a satin pillowcase. Tell me you’ve made the switch, they make a huge difference in the appearance of my hair in the morning. Especially if I took time to curl it, it helps the curls last throughout the week, and it’s a lot less tangled. Kitsch’s satin pillowcases are my go-to, I recommend them to everyone.
