Today’s how to hair tutorial is an Easy Braided Ponytail Hairstyle for Spring 2021! The pull-through braid is great for medium hair – long hair hair lengths. It is the perfect wedding, bridal, bridesmaid hairstyle, and a simple way to elevate your everyday hair.
Since this is a braided hairstyle it works best on 2nd-3rd day hair, you want the hair to have some grip to it. My favourite way to add workable texture into the hair is by adding curls, and I used T3’s 1 1/4″ Smart Curling Iron. Before curling the hair I like to spray a very light spray of light hold hairspray over each section, brushing it through, which will help the curls last longer. Another great way to add texture is with Dry Shampoo, I’ve been loving this one from Living Proof. You want to focus the dry shampoo throughout the crown of your hair, and lightly over your strands, this will help add some texture, helping your braid hold its shape. To finish off the hairstyle I added Big Sexy Hair’s Powder Play to my finger tips, and focused it on the base of the ponytail.
